Is there a God out there?

I reveal my struggle with a faith based God and my break with my Christian roots. I don’t know if there is a God, the creator of all, but I have curiosity about the possibilities. I feel that if there is a God like some Christians profess, Christians in general are extremely poor representatives of that faith and fail to understand the meaning of grace, compassion, forgiveness, unconditional love, turning the other cheek, and letting God be the judge.
